My name is Steve Keller with Radio One in Norcross. We have a new opening
within our company for a Field Service technician. The responsibilities
include field radio service and repeater repair. I know there are a lot of
Hams out there that this job would be ideal for. Is there a way we could

Following is our ad.
Fast growing two-way radio Communications Company seeking a Field Service
Technician. Must have a minimum of two years training in electronics theory
and a minimum of two years hands on work experience. Individual must be a
reliable, responsible, hard working, self motivated individual that is
willing to put in the extra hours when necessary. Must be able to
communicate effectively and get along well with customers and other
employees. Must be clean cut in appearance. Must have a good driving
record. Must have good references from previous employers.
Technician will troubleshoot and maintain repeater systems at radio sites
around Atlanta and North Georgia. Will meet with customers, trouble shoot
and repair their communications issues. Field installations of radio
equipment. Bench analysis and repair of equipment at our repair center.
Salary 13.00 to 18.00 per hour (based on experience), overtime, commission
opportunities and benefits. Company vehicle will be provided.
