The 440 Repeater
A Yaesu DR-2X running in Automatic Mode Select — analog and C4FM digital on the same frequency.
Site & history.
A Yaesu DR-2X System Fusion repeater operating in AMS (Automatic Mode Select) mode. AMS means the repeater detects whether an incoming signal is analog FM or C4FM digital and retransmits it in the matching mode — so analog-only and Fusion radios can share the machine without anyone changing settings.
